• Take a walk along the most winding street on the planet – Lombard Street in San Francisco. It consists of eight steep turns, buried in greenery. From the upper point of the street you can see the bridge and the bay, and from the lower point – the whole road serpentine;
  • Repeat the legendary kiss near the Unconditional Surrender sculpture on the San Diego pier. It depicts the kiss between an American sailor and a nurse captured in New York City’s Times Square on the day of Japan’s surrender;
  • Spend an unforgettable time at DIsneyland Park in Anaheim, the first such park opened by Walt Disney. There are classic Peter Pan and Mickey Mouse areas, original rides like Future Land and Haunted Mansion, and a Star Wars area;
  • Visit the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, where the Academy Awards have been held since 2001. In front of it is the famous “Walk of Fame” lined with stars of legendary actors, musicians, directors, producers and even fictional characters;
  • Try to survive in Death Valley – the hottest place on the planet. In summer, the average temperature here reaches +46ºC. In the valley there are moving stones, whose phenomenon is not yet fully understood;
  • Marvel at the gigantic size of the first heavy American aircraft carrier “USS Midway”, which now serves as a museum. It participated in the famous Operation Desert Storm. On its giant deck are World War II-era airplanes, and inside, original interiors and equipment have been preserved;
  • Tickle your nerves at the Winchester House in San Jose. It belonged to the widow of the son of the son of the creator of the famous weapon. The woman repeatedly rebuilt the house (according to legends, to confuse the spirits). This is how it came to be: a window in the floor, doors leading to nowhere and staircases against the walls;
  • See how Napa Valley vineyards grow and learn the secrets of California wine making. Here you can taste the produce of different years’ harvests and buy a few bottles for your collection;
  • Go to one of the largest oceanariums in the world in Monterey. More than 600 species of sea creatures are represented here and a variety of thematic exhibitions are held. Scenes of the TV series “Big Little Lies” were filmed in this location;
  • Walk in the national park “Yosemite”, known for its waterfalls, sequoias, picturesque valleys and rocks. It is also worth a visit to Sequoia Park, where giant trees grow. Some of them are taller than the Statue of Liberty and a rocket launcher.
